On integrity. On responsibility. On everyday judgement.
Trust is built in everyday decisions
As a member of the Executive Board of T-Mobile CZ & Slovak Telekom, Jitka Adámková works at the intersection of people and law — where integrity, responsibility, and judgment shape everyday decisions.
In her work, leadership is grounded in integrity, consistency, and personal responsibility. Her decisions are guided by personal values and the ability to stay mentally and physically fit — so she can act with clarity when it matters most.
For Jitka, trust is built through consistency, not declarations.
On integrity. On consistency. On trust.
Consistency is where trust becomes visible
Leadership is not defined by moments on stage. It is shaped by choices made when no one is watching.
Q1: Who are you as a leader when no one is watching?
I am the same person in front of the leadership curtain and behind it with all my strengths and weaknesses.
I stay consistent and authentic — that is my brand, my strength, and sometimes even my curse.
Q2: What guides your decisions when rules are not enough?
It is different when rules are not enough — sometimes even better. That is when meaning matters most.
I am not afraid to go against the current if it helps me understand the purpose of what I do. I know I can only make good decisions when I stay mentally and physically fit.

On complexity. On responsibility. On trust.
Leadership is tested from many directions
Leadership rarely unfolds in clear lines. It emerges at the intersection of people, interests, and expectations — often at the same time.
Q3: How do you respond when the system puts pressure on you?
The system is people with different interests. Pressure often serves an individual or a small group — and they hide behind “the system.” I work best when I understand why the pressure exists and who benefits from it.Only then can I find the most responsible solution. My motivation is to do the right thing — that is what builds trust.
Q4: What behavior builds trust under constant pressure?
Trust is built by what we actually do — not by what appears on slides or in declarations. For me, it comes down to courage, inspiration, and humility, and the ability to see around three corners, as my team likes to say.
Pressure reveals patterns. Trust is shaped by how leaders act in moments that truly matter.

On legacy. On people. On what remains.
The real test is what continues after you
Leadership does not end with presence. It shows in whether people can think, decide and grow without you.
Q5: What should remain after a leader?
I always call it a stamp — or a fingerprint. For me, the best outcome is people and talents who grow and eventually become better than I am. That is the proof that what I do truly makes sense.
In many leadership transitions, one pattern quietly repeats itself: what lasts is not the structure itself, but the people who learned how to think, decide, and grow. That is often where continuity truly begins.
In our work with CEOs and boards, we see this consistently: leaders who focus on people — not just performance — leave teams that continue to grow long after they move on.
