— Peter Nemčok
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Peter Nemčok
Peter began his career in commercial operations in 1997 and has worked in retained executive search since co-founding Menity in 2007. Since then, he has led retained searches resulting in more than 250 CEO, board and C-level appointments across CEE, with selected assignments in DACH and the UK — many in transformation, growth, restructuring or ownership-change contexts where execution becomes visible quickly.
He works with CEOs, boards, owners and investors on CEO succession, board appointments and confidential C-level searches, particularly across automotive, industrials, technology and telecommunications, as well as in multinational, investor-backed or ownership-transition contexts. Peter remains personally accountable for each mandate, leading clarification, market approach, candidate calibration and final alignment with support from Menity’s research team.

Professional profile
Senior appointments are tested when pressure rises
“The role may look clear. The candidate may look right. The real test comes later — when priorities shift and stakeholders begin to pull in different directions.”
— Peter Nemčok
Before co-founding Menity, Peter spent a decade in commercial roles across telecommunications and automotive. He led multi-site retail operations, managed enterprise client relationships at Orange during a period of rapid growth, and later led channel sales at General Motors during restructuring. These were environments where performance was measured quarterly and gaps in execution became visible quickly.
Peter holds an MBA in Management and Marketing from The Open University. That commercial background still shapes how he assesses leaders: not by profile alone, but by whether they can align stakeholders, make decisions as priorities change and deliver when the role in practice becomes harder than the role described on paper.

Mandate context
When the operating model and leadership change together
Many of Peter’s mandates begin when the business is changing ownership, structure or commercial direction at the same time as a new leader must take responsibility.
Transformation and restructuring
In transformation or restructuring, the appointment has to work in both the current organisation and the one being built. Peter helps clarify which decisions the leader must own, what has to remain operational during the transition and where the organisation needs a different level of pace, accountability or cross-market alignment.
Growth and ownership change
In growth, investor-backed and post-M&A situations, the role is often being redefined while the search is underway. New stakeholders, targets and reporting lines can change what success requires. Peter assesses whether a leader can establish credibility quickly, align competing priorities and translate the new operating model into decisions the organisation can execute.

Enterprise leadership — CEO, Board, General Manager and Managing Director appointments
Functional leadership — COO, CCO, CFO, CIO and CTO appointments
Selected perspectives
Insights and conversations
Peter’s analysis and conversations with senior executives across CEE since 2025 focus on what happens after a decision is made — when local context, commercial pressure and execution begin to test whether it holds. Across sectors, the same pattern repeats: clarity sets the direction; alignment and ownership determine whether the organisation can carry it.
How Menity works
Two founding partners. One operating standard.
Menity works exclusively on a retained basis and does not accept contingency assignments. Every mandate is led by a founding partner and supported by Menity’s research team. The partner remains accountable from mandate clarification and market approach through candidate calibration and final alignment.
Menity has operated this way since 2007.
Confidential. Retained. Partner-led.
When the mandate requires senior judgement
Peter works with CEOs, boards, owners and investors on CEO succession, Board appointments and confidential C-level searches across CEE, with selected cross-border mandates into DACH and the UK — particularly when leadership and the operating model are changing at the same time. Initial conversations are confidential; a mandate begins only when its scope and terms are agreed.
